영상치의학
본 과정에서는 정확한 진단 및 치료에 필수적인 치과방사선 진단영상을 획득하고 판독하는 과정에 대해 학습한다. 치아우식증 및 치주질환, 다양한 턱뼈 질환에 대하여 치료계획 수립에 필요한 필수 정보를 획득하고, 영상판독 할 수 있는 능력을 배양한다. 최근에는 상악동질환의 전산화단층영상의 중요성, 인공지능(Artificial Intelligence)과 치과방사선 영상활용 등의 연구에 중점을 두고 있다.

주요활동
이병도, 이완 교수는 1999-2019년까지 다양한 턱뼈질환 영상의 증례보고, 턱뼈 골구조의 디지털방사선학적 분석, 치과방사선량의 위험도 고찰 등을 연구주제로 국내외 저명 학술지에 논문을 게재해왔으며, 각종 학술모임에서 왕성한 논문발표를 해오고 있다. 2019년 신규 임용된 염한결 교수는 “Development of a new ball-type phantom for evaluation of the image layer of panoramic radiography”의 논문으로 2019년 7월 한국과학기술단체총연합회의 제 29회 과학기술우수논문상을 수상하였으며 활발한 학술활동이 기대되고 있다.
